SDXA WINS ARRL GAVEL FOR 2002 NOVEMBER SWEEPSTAKES CONTEST
In the Club competition in the ARRL November Sweepstakes Contests (combining scores in cw and phone portions), our SDXA won FIRST PLACE in the Local Club Category. Our prize was an official ARRL contest gavel which was given to Gary K7OX for his great contribution to the total score.
Our total combined cw and phone score was 985,614 points with 8 SDXA entries, beating out the Western Wireless Contest Club and the Raytown ARC. Thanks to all who participated and to Gary and Lamar for their high score contributions. Without the scores from both stations, we would have not taken first!
